The 5 Day PM Computer Fast: Why I Got More Done In Less Time at LifeDev

This guy at LifeDev seriously knows what he's talking about. Computer all the time = bad! Go running, go outside, call your mom or your friend in Boston... just do something else.

Zune Marketplace to keep your Zune player happy - Engadget
Zune Marketplace to keep your Zune player happy - Engadget

iZunes, uh, iMean Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnne the Store, not to be confused with Zuuuuuuuuuuunnne the Player (or the Playa) also reared is black, well-polised veneer today. Looks slick, I guess. Apple goes white with iTunes, Microsoft goes black with iZuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnes. I wonder if you can skin it, like Winamp, to get rid of the kinda depressing industrial motif MS has got going on.

Apparently there's something called Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnne Pass. I think that let's you to the front of the line when new music is released. Maybe?

Microsoft launches the Zune! - Engadget
Microsoft launches the Zune! - Engadget

"Introducing the i... Pod... Killa... / No one could get illa!"

Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnne (it's more fun to say it like that) was officially launched today. 30GB hard drive, FM player (meh), 3" screen, WiFi, music/picture/video playback.

Will it be cool? Probably. Will it be buggy? Almost certainly. Will it unseat the iPod? Probably not. But it looks like another solid entry into the DMP arena.

Look at the picture of the Zuuuuuuuuuunnnnes though. See the one on the right? It looks like it's lima bean green or something. Gross.

From Gizmodo: "No pricing information or launch date yet."
weaksauce!

iTunes 7 turning out to have major glitches - Engadget
iTunes 7 turning out to have major glitches - Engadget

Apple pwned by userbase? Naw, not really. But a lot of people, myself included, are underwhelmed after the promise the iTunes 7 showed. My favorite new feature, album art, doesn't seem to work well unless you have the name of the artist and album EXACTLY like it is in the iTMS. Plus a lot of my songs are thrown in "generic" album names like "Rock Singles" if only have one or two songs by the artists (makes browsing by album much cleaner), so there's no real way for me to get album art for those.

Read the article to see what else people are complaining about.
